Ametrine, a type of crystal, is named for its simultaneous presentation of at least two colors: purple and yellow. Gem-quality natural Ametrine is precious and rare. The purple color of Ametrine represents wisdom and the yellow color represents wealth, and crystals with both purple and yellow colors are believed to bring superior wisdom and wealth.

[How to choose Ametrine?]
①Color
Color contains two factors: color intensity and color separation. Color intensity is the depth of color. The quality of the deep color is higher than the light color. The color separation refers to the purple and yellow interface is obvious, the more obvious the color demarcation of the higher quality.
②Cut
A good cut enhances the quality of a gemstone, while a flaw in the cut will definitely affect the quality of the stone.
③Clarity
The vast majority of high-grade amethyst jewelry is required to be visually flawless. Flawed stones are usually processed into artifacts such as pendants.
④Carat
Since Ametrine is a crystalline gemstone, the carat weight is usually not very large. A carat weight of less than 5 carats will affect the Ametrine grading. The larger the flawless (clean) crystal, the more valuable it is.

⤴️ [Ametrine Quality Grading]
There are five grades of Ametrine: Extra grade, A grade, B grade, C grade and D grade.
(1) Extra grade: also known as the bishop level. Requirements for color, purple and yellow clear demarcation, crystal weight more than 5 carats, visual flawless, fine cutting.
(2) Grade A: Intense color and clear purple and yellow demarcation meet only one of the requirements, the crystal weight is more than 5 carats, no flaws in visual inspection, and fine cutting.
(3) Grade B: ① general color intensity, purple and yellow demarcation is not obvious, the crystal is more than 5 carats, there is no obvious flaws in visual inspection, fine cutting.
② The same color as A grade, less than 5 carats of crystals, no obvious visual flaws, fine cutting.
③The color is the same as grade A, the crystal is more than 5 carats, there are minor defects in visual inspection, and the cut is fine.
(4) Grade C: color intensity, separation is not obvious, the crystal is more than 5 carats, no flaws on visual inspection, average cut.
(5) Grade D: Intensity of color, very little separation, obvious irreparable flaws, obvious problems with cut.
